Scorpions, the German band, arrived on the metal charts with their first set, Lonesome Crow. Released in 1972, this debut was the one studio album that had Michael Schenker (brother to Rudolf Schenker) within its DNA structure. And while it didn’t capture the attention of the metal audience, it was a great search back once Scorpions demanded chart attention (with the release of Lovedrive (1979). Regardless of success on a wider scale, Scorpions had the attention of a dedicated group of fans in the US and elsewhere. The album celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022.
On February 20, Scorpions will revisit the classic set with a new 2026 mix of Lonesome Crow. the included booklet will provide new liner notes and interview portions with Rudolf Schenker, and Klaus Meine. Additional photos accompany the set. The Limited Edition of the album will be issued on February 27.

The 2026 remix of Lonesome Crow in celebration of its 60th Anniversary will be reissued on CD, DD, and a Limited Edition Clear vinyl LP.
