Jon Anderson, the classic and essential voice and collaborative songwriter of YES, has barely given himself a moment of rest throughout his years. At 81, he is still creating excellent songcraft, most noticeably on his previous set with The Band Geeks (a lengthy tour, and in 2024, a full album – True.
On March 27, Jon Anderson will reissue two full set albums from the past. The first is Earth Mother Earth, which was originally released in 1997. This album contained 13 tracks, all a measure of his peace with nature. It was recorded in simple settings. The second is Survival & Other Stories, which first issued in 2011, contains 11 songs. The reissuing label is Frontiers Music.
Both sets will be reissued on CD, DD, and vinyl LP. For Earth Mother Earth, the LP will be offered on 2LP Green vinyl, and Survival & Other Stories will be offered on 2LP Gold Marble vinyl. Both LP titles will be available on RSD on April 18.
