“Lemon Lanes” is a song from Big Leather’s first full-length album, The Milk of Human Kindness (and Other Imaginary Milks). In the music video for “Lemon Lanes”, Leo Rauf, the frontman of the band, finds himself in a town with nothing to do but watch television and play five-pin bowling. Leo, in his pastime, daydreams about when he was in his prime and the best bowler. An interesting slice of surrealism and clever musicianship/songwriting.

Big Leather is a New Orleans new wave band. The lineup consists of Leo Rauf on guitar, Elizabeth Vargas Bushnell on bass, Jeff Caulo on keys, and Liam Joyce on drums. Interesting and warmly appealing.
