From 1984 to 1990, The Pogues released five peak sets (7 altogether during their recording career). Songs that elevated them include “Dirty Old Town”, “The Irish Rover”, and especially the timeless Christmas classic, “Fairtytale of New York”, which, to this day, is essential listening in the XMas playlist.
