The Doors left behind quite a trail of interest even though their band was short-lived. With only 6 studio albums to feature Jim Morrison between a period of 1967 and 1971, The Doors sold well over 20 million copies and pushed out 13 singles, many of which are consistently played to this day. (Even my young grandson can sing “Riders On The Storm”.) With the passing of Jim Morrison, The Doors were but a shadow that could do little else without their iconic singer. The Doors issued three other albums after Morrison’s passing, one of which contain the embryonic steps by Morrison (An American Prayer – 1978).

On November 28, Elektra will issue a CD of live performance tracks from Falkoner Centret in Copenhagen, Denmark on September 17, 1968. This set will feature a set of 12 tracks, 11 of them songs. The set is being titled Live In Copenhagen.

Live In Copenhagen will issue on CD and DD via Elektra Records.
