Be Bop Deluxe were a band that took great pride in their music. With a short but bright career period that lasted for only four years but produced five fan-adored classics, Be Bop Deluxe left a legacy that resonates even unto today. Bill Nelson, the strongest component of the band, still produces music to this day.

On July 25, Esoteric Recordings (Cherry Red UK) will release a collected box set that will incorporate the first three albums of the five – Axe Victim (1974), Futurama (1975), and Sunburst Finish (1976). Those albums have been newly remastered and will be joined by a new booklet to fully explore those three albums with text and photos. The box will be simply referred to as The Albums 1974-1976. The CD containing Futurama will add in a non-album bonus track, “Lights”, which was the B-side to the “Between The Worlds” single.

The Albums 1974-1976 will be made available as a 3CD box, and will be available for DD and streaming.
