Slade, the UK band that dominated the hits of the early ’70s in Britain are still quite an attraction to many of fans from that era. Their reissues are snapped up and fans pf the band look to new things that arise from the band of the ’70s. Throughout their two-phase career, Slade released 15 albums before Noddy Holder and Jim Lea left to pursue a retirement from the rigors of the band. Of those, Slayed (1971) through Slade In Flame (1974) represented their first era of popularity, and The Amazing Kamikaze Syndrome (UK – 1983)/Keep Your Hands Off My Power Supply (US – 1984) through Crackers: The Christmas Party Album (1985) repped their second era of fame.

On January 24, a 2CD live set pulling not only from the first era between 1971-1973, but also from five shows to cherry pick the best live performance tracks. The set is being called appropriately – Keep On Rockin’: Live 1971-1973.
