Tears For Fears burst into music lovers’ worlds with their highly successful sophomore set, Songs From The Big Chair. That album delivered a walloping 1-2-3-4 knockout punch with four well-received million-selling singles that included “Shout”, “Everybody Wants To Rule The World”, “Mothers Talk”, and “Head Over Heels”. The album went on to sell well over 20 million copies back in 1985 when it emerged. Since then, the recognizable team of Curt Smith, and Roland Orzabal has given the world 3 more albums (Smith estranged from the band for two sets that are Elemental (1993), and Raoul and The Kings Of Spain (1995), rejoining for 2004’s Everybody Loves A Happy Ending.)

On October 25, Tears For Fears will release a live set that will include a bonus of four brand new studio tracks to accompany its collection of spanning live performance tracks. The album will contain 22 songs in all. The set is being called Songs For A Nervous Planet. It will be spread out over two discs. Disc one will begin with the four new songs. All live tracks are pulled from a July 11, 2023 show in Franklin, TN at the FirstBank Amphitheater.

Songs For A Nervous Planet will be issued on 2CD, DD, and 2LP sets. The 2LP set will feature on black vinyl but there is a 3LP Limited Edition and exclusive Blueberry Cream color package available as well (here).
