It’s been almost a year since Tina Turner passed on at the age of 83. I’m still in complete amazement at the story of her from her beginnings, though her tumultuous times with Ike Turner, and her emergence as one of Rock’s great vocal singers. Over the past few years, audio updates and expansions of her best-selling album sets have been reissued to fans the world over.
On April 26, Rhino Entertainment will reissue the 1993 Tina Turner soundtrack of What’s Love Got To Do With It as a 30th Anniversary package. It will feature a 2023 remaster of the album and will fill the rest of the set out with remixes, rarities, and single edits, all for a total of 30 tracks over 2CDs. There will also be a Boxed set of the title.
The 30th Anniversary of What’s Love Got To Do With It will be issued on 2CD, DD, 1LP, and a seven-disc Box that adds in the documentary on DVD, book, and a poster of the queen herself.
