10cc broke through with their world-wide hit, “Rubber Bullets”, which came from their 1973 debut album. They were an explosive hit machine in their native UK with four hit singles from the first step out. They furthered their attraction with “I’m Not In Love” from The Original Soundtrack (1975), and a handful of other hits. After their break up, the chief components of 10cc, Kevin Godley, and Lol Creme broke out with “Cry” as a duo – Godley & Creme. But throughout the era of 10cc, the band issued more than 30 singles, amd a healthy dose of enjoyable deep cuts from eleven albums. As such, they have quite a number of ‘best of’ collections.
On January 26, 2024, Edsel (Demon Group UK) will release an in-depth approach to 10cc with a HUGE 14CD box that will include 145 tracks in all. The Box will present 10 original albums (Mirror Mirror – 1995, is not included for contractual reasons), the 1977 double Live set – Live And Let Live, and two bonus CDs of 33 extra tracks that are comprised of single edits, and other rarities.
An expansive booklet is packed in with loads of photos, credits, an essay of of 10,000 words, and much more.
