Gerry Rafferty was a member of Stealer’s Wheel, who had a Top Ten hit with “Stuck In the Middle With You” back in 1973. After leaving that band, he released a solo album in 1971, and returned to release his second – City To City – in 1978. City To City proved to be a charm as it spawned three popular hit singles including “Baker Street”, “Right Down The Line”, and “Home and Dry”. The album provided Rafferty with his first Platinum album with sales of over a million copies in the US.
City To City will be newly remastered and reissued on a vinyl 2LP set, and DD on August 25. There will be no bonus tracks. Remastered at Half-Speed, it corrects the US speed issues. There will also be a Limited Edition Orange-colored 2LP set made available.
