When downtime and “boredom” hit two of the components of Jefferson Airplane (Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady), they opted to fill the time with a side project called Hot Tuna. What occurred was enormous success, enough to gain a bevy of fans and keepin’ on the road. For some, Hot Tuna, a Blues/Rock ensemble, might have been a better play than JA. Who’s to say?! Nevertheless, they gave a satisfying studio album, and a great performance on stage.

Mercury Studio revisits three previously released live sets that include Live at Sweetwater (1992), Live at Sweetwater 2 (1993), and Live In Japan (1997). They will be repackaged into a 3CD Box that will find the CDs housed in mini-LP jackets, with a booklet packed in. A poster of the cover art will also be boxed within.
