Frijid Pink was a band of the late ’60s, with a searing hard rock sound straight out of Detroit. Their fiery take on “The House Of The Rising Sun” helped to elevate the band to a welcomed station. They released 4 albums in their peak era, the last in 1974.

On June 30, Esoteric Recordings will release a newly remastered revisitation of their first two albums (Frijid Pink – 1970, Defrosted – 1970) in a 2CD set. It will be accompanied by 6 bonus tracks that are comprised of A and B-side edits of singles. The booklet will contain a new essay while the artwork for the set features restored art.

The 2CD set will be called The Deram Recordings 1970-1971.
