If you have a fixation for The Cult, and collect vinyl, then this piece is definitely for you. The Cult began in 1983 and released their first album in 1984. With Dreamtime, they enchanted the UK and Sweden fans with a solid work. Soon to follow was Love, a goth-y metal album that jumped the distances to endear the US and other global markets. Love went on to a strong sales mark for the US, UK, and definitely with Canada, which awarded Love with 2xPlatinum sales. It was released in 1985, and followed by the immense Electric set in 1987.
On February 24, Beggars Arkive (Beggars Banquet UK) will reissue Love on vinyl in two color variations. The first is the standard black, and the second offering is a translucent red that will only be made available via indie record stores, and on Beggars Banquet’s The Arkive website (pre-order here). The inner black sleeve is printed.
