As the Slade mania continues within the 21st Century (and 20 years into it, too!), we still have classic titles being revisited to deliver to fans and new audiences. One unexpected revisitation is Sladest, the 1973 compilation album that charted at number 1 in the UK! The UK and the US edition contained different tracklists. The UK edition pressed 14 tracks, while the US pressed only ten.
On November 4, BMG will put out a 20-track collection under the original title of Sladest using the original cover art. The new reissue will add in a 12-page booklet, and deliver them in a mediabook format for the reissue. A US single edit of “Skweeze Me, Pleeze Me” will be added as a bonus track.
Sladest will be reissued on CD, DD, and a special edition transparent blue, black & white splatter vinyl set.
