The Rock phenomenon known collectively as KISS swept the world in the 1970s. By 1979, KISS had released seven studio albums that included the peak era that arrived with ALIVE! (1975), boosting the arrival of Destroyer in 1976. They reigned well into 1979 with Dynasty. By 1980, the KISS galaxy began to thin a bit with Unmasked. KISS released the soundtrack to The Elder in 1981, following up with their last Casablanca release, Creatures Of The Night, in 1982.
On November 18, KISS will give a 40th Anniversary due to Creatures Of The Night with a large-scale 5CD/1BD Boxed set (AND a hefty price tag) that will provide a newly remastered original album alongside of demos, outtakes, and rarities, most previously unreleased. The last 2CDs will include selected previously unreleased live performance tracks. The included Blu-ray Disc will offer the original album in both Dolby HD, and Atmos 5.1 Surround Sound, and a new high-resolution mix of the Stereo version.
Not to be outdone with just audio upgrades and bonus tracks, the box will include an 80-page hardcover book with photos and write-ups. Collectibles stuffed into the box will include bio sheets, posters, iron on transfers, photos, stickers, replica ticket and backstage pass, trading cards, glow in the dark guitar picks, patch, buttons, and a few more things of interest to the KISS fan.
Creatures Of The Night will also be released on a truncated 2CD Deluxe Edition, and a single CD edition. For vinyl LP, there will be a 40th Anniversary 3LP Color vinyl set, a 1LP Half-Speed Mastered set, as well as multiple versions of tee bundles.

I bought the Destroyer box, which is a fun thing. I wish they had followed it up within another album from the earlier years – anything up to an including The Elder. I’m just not interested in Creatures of the Night, so this one I can skip.
