MusicTAP is pleased to present this wonderful new track and video from Jenn Vix, one of my long-time favorite singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalists. Ms. Vix has an impressive back catalog, which you would do well to investigate, and has now released this triumph, “You Are A Star” – recorded with original A Flock Of Seagulls drummer Ali Score.
There is a feeling of joy and lightness in this video and the song itself, which is sorely needed during these times. And for someone who was a keen arbiter of the sounds of the early ’80’s, it’s an emotional musical comfort food, with the familiar feel and look to the video. Most importantly, it’s a great and memorable song.
