Some of you may remember the excellent single track by newcomer Amy Macdonald, “Mr. Rock and Roll” (heard below). The song propelled the album itself to Number 1 on the UK charts, whcih then went on to sell more than a million copies back in 2008. Interestingly, the song (and another) was sent to a label as a demo. It obviously delighted the recipient enough to sign her to a record contract. And of course, it eventually delighted new fans.
On April 22, Amy Macdonald revisits the debut album – This Is The Life – with a brand new Limited Editon 10″ 2LP white vinyl package. This is a good pickup for fans who are also vinyl collectors.
