Lovespirals is a duo that currently features founder, Ryan Lum, and his wife, Anji Bee. Lovespirals had metamorphosed from Love Spirals Downward, a previous incarnation that released four studio sets via the Projekt label. The first entity preferred a dreamy pop quality, whereas the current Lovespirals is ‘a flower in the sun’ kind of band that explores the various sounds of the time. This is a thing that Lovespirals does well. Lovespirals has five studio albums available as well as a handful of EPs.
On March 4, Lovespirals will release a new EP that is being called Smile. Inside the EP will be three new songs that blend the California easiness with the sounds of South Korean indie music. You can set your pointer to their Bandcamp page to be alerted to the EP’s release and any physical forms being made available. However, it does appear that DD and streaming will be the original release modes.
