Pete Doherty has been one of the UK’s more satisfying artists to create music in this time. He is a current member of The Libertines, and founder of Babyshambles, both who have not released an album for some time. The last Libertines album was Anthems For Doomed Youth (2015), and the last Babyshambles album was Sequel To The Prequel (2013). He also fronts The Puta Madres, who charted an album in 2019. It’s time for more.
On March 18, Pete Doherty teams with Frédéric Lo, a French singer-songwriter, on a new album of 12 new originals called The Fantasy Life Of Poetry & Crime. There are two songs from the new album in release, the most current being “You Can’t Keep It From Me Forever” (hear below).
The Fantasy Life Of Poetry & Crime is a welcome release and will be released via the Straporiginals label. It will issue on CD, DD, CS, and three LP color packages (standard black vinyl, red vinyl, and blue vinyl).
