Bloc Party earned instant approval with the release of their impressive 2005 debut album, Silent Alarm. The music within that album was indie rock, and a blend of other styles that gave the band a sharp edge. The debut provided successful singles and became a worldwide favorite with more than a million copies sold. Since, they have released four more albums, their last being Hymns (2016) that yielded the excellent “The Love Within” single (below).
On April 29 of 2022, Bloc Party returns after a five years with a new album, Alpha Games. With 12 new songs, the new album is sure to generate excitement. The first single is “Traps”, which can be heard below.
