The new series dubbed The Montreux Years debuted with releases by Nina Simone, and Etta James. Recently released, those two sets set the stage for the series as it moves forward. The releasing label, BMG, now adds two new sets to this developing series.
On October 22, The Montreux Years continues with one featuring Marianne Faithfull, and one with Muddy Waters. The Marianne Faithfull set packages performances from 1995 (3 songs), 1999 (4 songs), 2002 (2 songs), 2005 (2 songs), and 2009 (3 songs), while the Muddy Waters set works with performances from 1972 (4 songs), 1974 (4 songs), and 1977 (7 songs).
Both Montreux Years sets will be released on CD, DD, and vinyl LP.
