After the unfortunate passing of Joy Division‘s frontman, Ian Curtis, the band changed their name to New Order to continue with the talent within the band. Their first release was Movement, released in 1981. In 2019, a 2CD/DVD/LP Definitive Edition was released to celebrate the album. Their second, Power, Corruption & Lies followed Movement with a Factory Records release in 1983. It was widely loved and respected.

On October 2, Rhino will follow suit with the release of a 2CD/2DVD/LP Definitive Edition for Power, Corruption & Lies. The original album will feature new remastering (2019), and will pack in a complete book to celebrate the album with photos, memorabilia, and essays/notes. CD1 Contains the 2019 remaster of the original album, with CD2 containing sixteen bonus tracks, some previously unreleased. DVD1 presents two live sets, a collection of live performances of songs in TV Sessions and concerts. DVD2 contains a documentary (Play At Home), and a live 1983 show.

2020 remasters of 12″ non-album tracks singles, “Thieves Like Us“, “Confusion“, “Blue Monday” and “Murder” will be released on 12″ vinyl, also on October 2.
