The Marillion updates continue with the next being for 1995’s Afraid Of Sunlight classic. By the time of its arrival, Marillion had already released seven well-received albums beginning with Script For A Jester’s Tear (1983). The band had already gone through several personnel changes as well. When Afraid Of Sunlight released, fan support was beginning to soften. Nevertheless, with hard-core fans, Marillion has remained a strong favorite. With this audio update, fans once again win big.
On November 01, Marillion will provide a new 2019 Michael Hunter remix for the original album, a copy of the original Dave Meegan 1995 mix, the complete September 29, 1995 Rotterdam Ahoy show in the Netherlands over 2CDs (with all 25 live performance tracks newly remixed by Hunter for this box), and a BD (Blu-ray) with a treasure trove of 26 bonus tracks that include outtakes, demos, early versions, acoustic demos (17 of which are previously unreleased), and high resolution (48kHz/24-bit) remixes for Stereo (LCPM), and two 5.1 Surround (DTS, LCPM). A video for “Beautiful” is included as well as a filmed documentary.
