What ELSE could be said about The Beatles that hasn’t been said more eloquently by others. So…I won’t even try. What I will say here is that one of the Beatles classics, the so-called White Album, is being reissued as a massive collection of remixed original tracks, demos and sessions takes, AND the White Album presented in two 5.1 Surround Sound mixes (DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, Dolby True HD 5.1) as well as high resolution 2018 Stereo mix, and the original Mono mix. This edition of the White Album will be presented in several versions, the chief being a 6CD/BD Box with a special 164-page hard-bound book. The Deluxe edition will include replicas of the album’s original fold out poster and the collection of four photo prints.
On November 9, watch for all four of the various presentations of this necessary re-acquisition of the White Album. There will be the previously mentioned 6CD/BD box, as well as a 3CD set, a 4LP Deluxe set, and a 2LP 2018 Mix set of the original album tracks. The 3CD Edition will deliver a 24-page booklet, while the LPs sets will provide 4-page booklets.
Hard to believe that this album is 50 years old!
