Roine Stolt is returning to The Flower Kings…well, sort of.

The prolific guitarist, singer, writer and at times band leader of the groups The Flower Kings, Transatlantic, Kaipa, as well as from his work with Yes’ Jon Anderson, is releasing a new album on November 23, under the modestly adapted name Roine Stolt’s The Flower King. Manifesto Of An Alchemist will run through 10 songs at nearly 70 minutes.

This is not necessarily a surprise, nor an act of sedition. Stolt’s third solo album from 1994 was titled The Flower King (singular). It was only later, when a band unit congealed, that the plural form was employed. You might consider this more of a return to form than a deviation from it. Further, Stolt has joined forces with a new supergroup, The Sea Within, and their live acts have regularly included the terminology, “Roine Stolt’s The Flower King.”

Manifesto Of An Alchemist features long-time collaborators Jonas Reingold, Hasse Froberg, and Michael Stolt, as well as fellow The Sea Within member Marco Minnemann, Max Lorentz, Zach Kamins, Rob Townsend, and Nad Sylvan.

Manifesto Of An Alchemist will arrive as a limited edition CD digipak, Gatefold 180g 2LP + CD & as digital download. You can find the full track-listing below:
