Few can generate interest than the albums produced by John Lennon. It doesn’t matter how often they’re remastered and re-presented, the fans will be out to pick them up. The last batch of Lennon remasters proved that yet again. This time, Universal intends to take Lennon’s quintessential classic, Imagine, to a whole new level with the release of an ultra-definitive reissue.
There’s little I can ultimately write that hasn’t already been said before. John Lennon is a revered artist from the beginning of Rock and Roll. So, without the usual bombast supplied to such releases, I’ll just post the tracklist of an album that few do NOT know. It’s lengthy. It will be fun to own, no doubt.
On October 5, be in line to pick up Imagine – The Ultimate Collection by John Lennon. It will be completed by a huge 120-page book containing every photo and manner of memorabilia from the release era. The box will provide 4CDs and 2BDs (Blu-ray discs) that will encompass Imagine with remixes, remasters, demos, raw mixes, 5.1 Surround, and the historic Quad 4-channel mix. Additionally, for the ones who do not need the excess to such excess, there will be a 2CD Deluxe Edition, a CD remastered set, and a 2LP 180g-weight black vinyl set.
