Think Don McLean, and his mega MEGA popular hit, “American Pie” comes immediately to mind. In fact, many people know most, if not all of the words to the 1971 classic track. It was a long song that needed editing for radio. Don McLean was never able to replicate that success even though he released a few singles after “American Pie” (“Vincent (Starry Starry Night)”, “Driedel”, etc). To date, McLean has twenty albums in his catalog.
On March 23, BMG and PledgeMusic will release his next album, Botanical Gardens. This new set will deliver thirteen new songs. The first single, “Botanical Gardens” can be heard below.
Botanical Gardens will be issued on CD, DD, and vinyl LP.
