Third Eye Blind is a San Francisco band who started their career in the ’90s with a stunning 1997 debut album that has since sold over six million units. As part of the album’s legacy, it has spawned five singles, a rare feat for any band especially when they track high on Billboard’s charts. Anyone who followed them will know the quality of music that Third Eye Blind delivered over five albums. Their last album was Dopamine, released in 2015.
On June 9, Elektra Records will revisit the eponymous debut album of Third Eye Blind with a 20th Anniversary 2CD Deluxe Edition. In addition to the original album, there will be a CD of bonus tracks. That CD will offer five demos, and three extra songs including a 2017 version of “Tattoo Of The Sun”. The others include demos of “Slow Motion”, “Semi-Charmed Life”, “Kiss Goodnight”, “Scattered”, “Heroin”, and finished songs, “Alright Caroline”, and “Scattered”.
