It’s a post that many of us have been anxiously awaiting for. The announced arrivals of the Steve Wilson Stereo and 5.1 remixes of two Adrian Belew-period King Crimson classics, Beat (1982), and Three Of A Perfect Pair (1984).
Those two have been completed by Steve Wilson for some time just awaiting the decision to release by DGM. DGM recently went on record as saying that these two will arrive during October of 2016. The date is now being listed as October 14.
Three Of A Perfect Pair will be richly presented with not only the 2016 stereo remix of the original album from original tapes, but also six bonus tracks from the sessions, and 5.1 Surround mixes by Steve Wilson and Robert Fripp that will be found on the DVD-Audio and BD-Audio (Lossless 5.1, and DTS 5.1). In addition, the DVD will provide high-resolution Stereo mixes, and the original album mix in high resolution. Finally, the a promo video for “Sleepless” is included.
