More and more desirable titles are emerging on vinyl LP these days. And they’re doing so at a faster clip. Here’s a brief list of upcoming LP reissues coming over the next month or so:
At Budokan: The Complete Concert by Cheap Trick album is actually already out there (due to Record Store Day), but Legacy will be re-releasing for mass consumption on June 10. It will be a 2LP set.
Three vinyl LPs from the Peter Gabriel camp will be forthcoming on July 15. Those albums include So, US, and UP, all half-speed remasters, cut at 45RPM. All of the albums are multi-discs, with gatefold sleeves that have newly scanned artwork to brighten up the cover displays. Each album are offered individually, with options for bundles. The albums join Melt, Scratch, Car, and Security on the vinyl reissue availability platform. So will be released as a 2LP set, with US, and UP scheduled as 3LP sets. All of these are Limited Edition sets so do not delay if you want a copy!
Columbia Records have The Essential Bob Dylan on 2LP planned for June 10.
The RSD Edition of Smash Hits by The Jimi Hendrix Experience is being made widely available as a vinyl LP set on June 10 via Legacy Recordings. This set will feature the Old West alternate cover, and new remastering from the analog tapes.
Rhino Records will reissue the Ramones‘s debut set on a 40th Anniversary 180g LP set (but included with 3CD in the title’s Deluxe Edition). The set is scheduled for July 29.
Epic Records have The North Corridor coming on vinyl LP from Chevelle. It’s scheduled for July 8.
XL Recordings (via Warner Brothers Music) will release the new album by Radiohead, A Moon-Shaped Pool. It will feature as a 180g-weight 2LP set with included download rights of the songs. It’s scheduled for June 17.
Legacy Recordings will offer No Code with Pearl Jam on vinyl LP on August 5. The remastering was handled by Bob Ludwig.
Verve Records will reissue The Visit (1991) by Lorenna McKennitt on vinyl LP on June 24.
Green by R.E.M. have a vinyl LP reissue date of July 1 attached to it.
Sugar Hill has the newest album by NYC’s Sarah Jarosz planned for June 17. The new album is called Undercurrent.
And finally, Capitol Records will reissue Dreamboat Annie, the 1975 Mushroom Records debut by Heart. The re-release is planned for June 17.
