The Dead Weather Dodge And BurnIn 2009, a band featuring Jack White, Dean Fertita (Queens of the Stone Age), Jack Lawrence, and Alison Mosshart (The Kills) released their first album, Horehound. By 2010, The Dead Weather released its followup, Sea Of Cowards. Both albums were quite good, and had received plenty of critical acclaim. And then, we didn’t hear from them again.

Recently, it was announced that Jack White’s label, Third Man Records, would be releasing the new The Dead Weather album on September 25 of 2015. For fans of the band’s first two albums, and for those lucky enough to have seen them in a concert setting), thi is indeed good news. The new album is being called Dodge And Burn, and will feature eight new songs, along with four remixed and remastered previously released tunes (“Buzzkill(er)”, “It’s Just Too Bad”, “Open Up (That’s Enough)”, “Rough Detective”).
