Earlier this year, Motown Records released a vinyl LP Box that collected the formative and defining first seven studio albums of Marvin Gaye. The vinyl Box was called Marvin Gaye 1961-1965. It included new vinyl of The Soulful Moods of Marvin Gaye (1961), That Stubborn Kinda Fellow (1962), When I’m Alone I Cry (1964), Together – Marvin Gaye and Mary Wells (1964), Hello Broadway (1964), How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You (1965), and Tribute To Nat King Cole (1965). With its release, it was inevitable that we get a CD Box soon. And here it comes.
On September 11, Motown will release the same Box set but for CD. More information to follow.
