If you like your ABBA music, and you are slowly upgrading your ABBA library with emerging CD/DVD Deluxe EditionS, then this next one should get you all jingly. In the ’70s, ABBA held sway over the TOP 40 radio airwaves, dominating charts with their own brand of Pop. With the release of Waterloo, the quartet’s second album, they captured with the title track. “Waterloo”. They followed it up with “Honey Honey”, and the rest became history.
Released as a 40th Anniversary Edition, this CD/DVD set will provide the ABBA fan with a bonus of fourteen performance TV videos, while the CD will add in various versions of familiar songs, as well as an alternate mix of “Waterloo”. The set will finalize with a 20-page booklet with the usually expected goodies.
This UK reissue is slated for April 7.
