David Bowie rose to fame as an ever-changing persona adopting a closetful of disguises. One of his enduring personas was Ziggy Stardust, the Rock Star that defied the status quo by rising to heights farther than any star before him ever rose. The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars historically represents Bowie’s fifth entry into his large body of work. It sold well over a million and a half copies in the UK alone. It is now identified as one of the great Bowie albums.

On September 6, Rhino Entertainment will release a Blu-ray Audio disc with four full versions of the album. Two of the versions are remasters featuring the 2012 remaster but mixed in high definition 24-bit Stereo at both 48kHz and 192kHz. The gems of this new set will be 2024 remixes that include a new Stereo mix at 96kHz/24-bit AND a revitalized set mixed in Dolby Atmos.

These versions of The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars will be available on this singular BD-Audio disc, and DD for streaming and download. You can pre-order here.
