It’s a post that many of us have been anxiously awaiting for. The announced arrivals of the Steve Wilson Stereo and 5.1 remixes of two Adrian Belew-period King Crimson classics, Beat (1982), and Three Of A Perfect Pair (1984).
Those two have been completed by Steve Wilson for some time just awaiting the decision to release by DGM. Yesterday, DGM went on record as saying that these two will arrive during October of 2016. No date has been set as of yet other than October. What’s worse, we don’t know (yet), other than the original album, what the other content is going to be.
What we do know additionally is that DGM will also be releasing a new King Crimson Box, On And Off The Road 1981-1984. Both Beat, and Three Of A Perfect Pair – with the entire content of both packages – will be included in the Box, as likely, Discipline (1981) will be (I’m assuming).
The content of all three packages (Beat/Three Of A Perfect Pair/On And Off The Road 1981-1984) will be revealed in a few weeks by DGM.
Be patient. I will update when I get notice!
