Jackson Browne, a singer/songwriter popular right out of the gate with his hit, “Doctor My Eyes” from his Saturate Before Using debut. (The album is given that title from fans when it’s actually just Jackson Browne.). Before any time had passed, he came back with For Everyman (1973), the incredible Late for The Sky (1974), and then hitting 1976 with The Pretender, which then hit triple Platinum in sales. That’s 50 years ago.
On November 13, Jackson Browne and Inside Recordings will celebrate the album’s perfection with a brand new 2026 remaster. There aren’t any bonus tracks so the music speaks for itself in its celebration.
This 2026 remaster of The Pretender will be offered on CD, DD, and 180g-weight vinyl LP.
