London-based Public Service Broadcasting has provided a wealth of entertainment to fans since the release of their first album back in 2013. With four studio sets in release, and two live sets, PSB continues to use a satisfying blend of art-rock and electronica to create their music. Their last set was released in 2021 and so it’s definitely time for a new collection of new compositions.
On October 4, Public Service Broadcasting will release their next studio set with a library of nine new tracks that become a conceptual set to celebrate the life of Amelia Earhart. PSB joins Laurie Anderson in issuing an artistic exploration surround the famed pilot, who disappeared in 1939 in an attempt to circumnavigate the globe in a solo flight vying to be the first woman to do so. Her plane was never found shrouding the disappearance in mystery ever since. The new album will be called The Last Flight and will be issued via SO Recordings.
The Last Flight will be issued on CD, DD, silver-color CS, and two versions of vinyl LP that will include standard black, and a Limited Edition Zoetrope LP. There are also bundle for the set. All can be ordered from here. A track from the album – “Electra” is in release. Hear below.
