Bloc Party formed in 1999 and immediately produced an album of note with Silent Alarm. Released in 2005, the album generated a well-received hit single. It ranked high in charts and sold several million copies. Since then, the band has released five more studio sets including Hymns (2016) with the excellent “The Love Within” single (and two others), and the last set – Alpha Games (2022), with four singles, all with positive reviews.
On September 11, Bloc Party (via cOnTAGIOUS Records) will reveal their 7th studio set, which will be known as Anatomy Of A Brief Romance. It will provide 14 brand new tracks, with “Coming On Strong” as their first single from the set. You can hear that song below.
Anatomy Of A Brief Romance will be issued on CD, DD, and several variations of vinyl LP, which will include standard black vinyl LP, and a Limited Edition transparent vinyl 2LP package in both signed and unsigned editions. There will be a number of bundles that will include tees, as well as a LP bundle with both the black and transparent vinyl sets in a boxed set (3LPs).
