The Monkees are, quite simply, America’s treasure. Their origination in 1966 for the NBC sit-com of the same name, The Monkees – as a band – proliferated and soon enjoyed a string of healthy hits that still hold admiration to this day. While the band has five Platinum-selling titles from 1966 to 1968, they actually have 13 studio sets (not counting Dolenz, Jones, Boyce, & Hart), two of them released over the last ten years. One of them is Good Times! Issued in 2016, Good Times! was heralded as a fine set albeit without Davey Jones, who passed in 2012.
On May 29, Rhino will revisit Good Times! with a 10th Anniversary set that will cover the original album on CD1 and deliver four bonus tracks as well as each original track provided as instrumentals.
This 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of Good Times! will be reissued on 2CD, DD, and 1LP 180g-weight Rhino Reserve series issue.
