Dead Can Dance, the Lisa Gerrard/Brendan Perry collaboration that gave the Rock world a unique brand of music for almost two decades, is back on the board with a new song. The song is titled “Our Day Will Come” (and can be heard below). The deal with this new song becomes a different management in that it will not release on streaming services that posts and promotes AI-created music. Instead, this song (and others that follow it) will be issued via Holy Tongue Records, the band’s personal label. It is expected that DCD will issue a new song per month through the end of 2026. “Our Day Will Come” is the first fruit of that.

Issued on March 20, “Our Day will Come” is being sold via Bandcamp in 48kHz/24-bit quality DD. It is hoped (by me) that there will be a collected set physically issued in 2027, perhaps even issued via 4AD in licensure. DCD reports that this song, and others that follow in this series, will provide a 50% donation (from sale of the track(s)) to the Medical Aid To Palestinians (MAP) organization. Each purchase of the DD for “Our Day Will Come” will come with a PDF containing artwork and lyrics.

You can purchase “Our Day Will Come” (and subsequent tracks) here at Bandcamp.
