Peter Frampton came to a high level of fame with the release and acceptance of his 1976 live set, Frampton Comes Alive! This album came on the heels of his last studio set, Frampton, which was issued in 1975 and achieved Gold status. By 1979, with audience tastes drastically changing, Peter Frampton sales had gone done. Nevertheless, his rise with Humble Pie, and his solo efforts set a strong period of Frampton mania. It has been 16 years since he has released an album of freshly crafted songs.
On May 15, Peter Frampton will release a new album of ten new songs – Carry The Light. He will feature such guests as Sheryl Crow, Benmont Tench, Graham Nash, Tom Morello, and Bill Evans throughout the album. In addition to the storied guests that worked on Light the Way, Peter Frampton worked extensively with his son, Julian Frampton. The album has one single in release, “Buried Treasure”, which you can hear below.

Carry The Light will be issued on CD, DD, and two versions of 180g-weight Yellow vinyl. There is one CD and one Yellow vinyl LP will be Limited Edition and signed. Otherwise, the offerings are standard.
