The Zombies formed in 1962 largely powered by keyboardist, Rod Argent (who went on to a successful ’70s run with Argent), and Colin Blunstone. By 1964, they were known worldwide with their hit, “She’s Not There”. That was followed by “Tell Her No”, and then later with “Time Of the Season”. Even with the psychedelic tinge of the latter hit, it proved to not be enough to sustain the future of the band. The Zombies left the arena with a final album, Odessey and Oracle, issued in 1968 before their breakup. (The Zombies, without Rod Argent, reformed in 1988.)
On September 26, the last album by the original lineup – Odessey And Oracle – will be reissued with a new remaster of the album in the original Mono mix from original tapes. The new remaster will be released via Beechwood Park Records (The Zombies label imprint that will handle their recently acquired rights to their early recordings). The included booklet will feature new notes and more for this reissue.

A track – “This Will Be Our Year” – from this new remaster is in release and can be found on streaming services (Click here)
Odessey And Oracle will be reissued on CD, CD with an exclusive puzzle included, DD, and two single LP variations that will include black vinyl and a Limited Edition blue vinyl press, and a standard industry black vinyl press LP. Order at this link.
