Marissa Nadler is a Folk singer with an ability to merge Folk with dreamy textures that can effectively sift through your soul. Currently, Marissa has eleven full-length albums out. The first – Ballads Of Living And Dying – was released back in 2004. Since, she has attracted two major labels in Sacred Bones, and Bella Union (started by Cocteau Twins, now owned and run by Simon Raymonde of the CT band). 2014’s July set is my favorite of hers, and the one with the best exposure with charts. that album contains the riveting “Drive” track (hear below). Her last album –The Path Of The Clouds– was released in 2021. And so it is with pleasure to be able to announce her upcoming set.
On August 15, Marissa Nadler returns with New Radiations. This new set will contain eleven new songs, two of which are already in release (“Hatchet Man”, “New Radiations”). The new set will come with the offering of signed editions, signed postcards, and some vinyl variations.
New Radiations will be released via Sacred Bones (US), and Bella Union (UK) on CD, DD (96kHz/24-bit), and for LPs, a vinyl edition pressed on 140g Smoky Grey Marble vinyl, another pressed on white vinyl, a Sacred Bones Exclusive pressed on Moonlight Radiation-colored vinyl LP, and standard black vinyl LP.
