Mien is a current US-based psychedelic band that is a hybrid of The Black Angels, Elephant Stone, The Earlies, and Arkestra. Created in 2018 as a side project, Mien released their first album that captured attention as the quartet created a masterpiece album based on the confluence of several talents within the quite large psychedelic scene. It’s been quite a while since they have reconvened. I, for one, am happy to welcome them back.
On April 18, Mien returns with their sophomore set, MIIEN that cleverly represents their second offering. The new album will be filled with ten new tracks from the band, three of which are currently available as fore-runners. Listen To “Evil People” below.
MIIEN will be released on CD, DD, and Limited Edition 180g-weight Black, Blue, and White Splatter vinyl in gatefold jacket, and a Clear Blue 140g-weight vinyl press. All come with high resolution (44kHz/24-bit) downloads as well.
