Frank DiMino sang for a band popular in the late ’70s, a band known as Angel. Signed by the burgeoning Casablanca label, and discovered by Gene Simmons of KISS, Angel provided a unique but highly glam stage presence, which was further highlighted by the success of On Earth As It Is In Heaven (and its single, “That Magic Touch”) issued in 1977. They enjoyed further success with White Hot, released a year later in 1978. A downslide in popularity led to the band splintering and by 1981, nothing remained. They have reformed several times, their latest resulting in two albums, Risen (2019), and Once Upon A Time (2023). Frank DiMino‘s voice was featured on all album releases.

On June 6, Deko Entertainment will revisit the voice that powers Angel with a reissue of his 2015 solo set, Old Habits Die Hard. It will feature a bonus acoustic track of “Even Now”, an already fleshed out full-scale track in the original sequence.

Old Habits Die Hard will be released on CD, DD, and will be pressed on Limited Edition White vinyl (appropriately) LP.
