The band that came to be known simply as Chicago (from Chicago Transit Authority) not only entered into the world of Rock and Roll with excitement, they continued through for many sets afterward. Their 1969 debut sold over two million units and gave up four solid Top20 hits. For well over 13 albums, they continued the provision of singles and million-selling albums. With a few hiccups here and there, Chicago remained socially relevant (Dialogue, Pts 1 & 2). But they STILL have the ears and hearts of the boomer audiences.

On May 23, Rhino Entertainment will reissue Chicago II (despite being issued simply as Chicago, a truncated title from their previous CTA designation, but is generally accepted as Chicago II). This new reissue brings the 2017 Stephen Wilson remix to the marketplace in a new 2LP offering as well as a new Stephen Wilson Atmos remix for Blu-ray Audio. The BD-Audio set will also offer a 5.1 Surround mix as well a the Quadrophonic 4-channel mix, and the Stereo mix.

The 2LP set of the Stephen Wilson Remix  of Chicago II will also be offered and will be pressed in black vinyl. This package is due on April 25.
