Tangerine Dream has had a lot of talent and faces throughout their storied and still active career. But in their peak, for about 8 albums, 2 of them live sets (Ricochet – 1975, Encore – 1977), and a soundtrack for the film, Sorcerer, Peter Baumann was an essential element of the three piece band before quitting TD before Cyclone issued in 1978. Peter Baumann went solo and issued 8 sets over the years. His first was Romance ’76 (1977), and his last was Neuland, a collaborative effort with Paul Haslinger. This means that his last solo work was in 2016 with Machines of Desire.
On May 16, Peter Baumann returns with a brand new solo work to be called Nightfall. This new album will feature 8 new tracks, music that many fans are anxious to hear. Nightfall will join the ranks of German independent label, Bureau B.
Nightfall will be issued on CD, DD, and two colors for vinyl LP. Those include the industry standard black vinyl, and a Limited Edition Transparent Blue LP, which is limited to only 500 copies.
