Esoteric Recordings, a part of the vast Cherry Red UK umbrella, has given Camel, the UK band from the ’70s, a lot of attention lately. With Moonmadness, Mirage, Nude, and Pressure Point on the near horizon as upgraded sets, and a massive Boxed set (Air Born is sold out for the band issued not all that long ago, remembrance is sweet for the fans of the band that gave experimental jazz and progressive rock a significant and memorable boost. With the boxed set (The UMe Box is now sold out) a safe distance from deprivation sales, the breakout of the various separate album titles is now in full swing.
On April 25, Esoteric will reissue The Snow Goose in a 2CD/BD reissue that will include the brilliant album remastered, and remixed for new Stereo and 5.1 Surround. There are a handful of bonus tracks that largely feature remixes of “Riverman”, and single versions.
The Snow Goose will be offered as 2CD set along with a packed in BD-Audio that provides the high resolution mixes of the album. CD2 provides a Stephen W Taylor Stereo mix of The Snow Goose. The packed in booklet is filled with photos and an essay along with ne notes on the album and the band.
