Dave Mason is not a stranger to the history and the longevity of Rock. He started his short tenure with Traffic back in 1967, leaving after their first album in pursuit of a solo career. His long career is punctuated by session appearances, a successful solo period (1970-1977), and time with others like with Fleetwood Mac in 1994, even recording an album – Time (1995). Dave Mason had several well-received singles from equally well-received albums in the ’70s that include “We Just Disagree” and “So High (Rock Me Baby and Roll Me Away” from Let It Flow (1977). His last album was his 1970 debut album re-recorded, Alone Together, Again, issued in 2020 via Barham Records.

On March 21 of 2025, Barham Productions will release the next new album by Dave Mason with A Shade Of Blues. This new set will contain 11 newly remixed and remastered tracks from various points in his career, many of which will have a guest list of import that include Joe Bonamassa, Michael MacDonald, and others.
